Can Irish dance wigs really cause baldness? Please read and comment

I don't think the poof can cause baldness.  I think the severity and tightness at which our hair sometimes get pulled back under the wig can be a little worrisome.  But most of us don't wear our wigs often enough to cause any lasting damage, that's my thought.

The poof itself can't cause baldness, but wearing your wig often(like pretty much everyday!!) can cause slight baldness as it is pulling our hair a bit. You have to wear it ALOT for baldness to occur though, so I'm sure you're fine!
