Got to Dance (Sky - UK)

This year's Got to Dance has had four very good Irish Dancing acts this year (3 x step dancing, 1 x sean nos). The step dancing acts have been Prodijig (who's posted here), Brosena (a couple) and Celtic Feet (a group from Coventry). There was also 2 children from Galway, brother and sister Colm and Roisin who danced Sean Nos. Love this programme - an opportunity for all dance styles.

Two of the four acts mentioned above are through to the Live Semi-Finals. These are Prodijig and Brosena. Prodijig will be in next Sunday's semi-final (Jan 29th Sky One in UK)

As well as the main show of Got to Dance which airs on Sundays, during the week there are the Auditions Uncut shows, and there was yet another Irish dance act called "Celtic Moments" from Kent (UK). Also the interval act on the first Live Semi-Final included Damhsa Dreams who competed last year...she's Siobhan from Co Offaly (Irl).

Got to Dance - Auditions Uncut have shown some more Irish Dance acts. Last weekend we had the Celtic Blondes (it wasn't said, but I think there were at the Dublin Auditions).

Another Irish dancer cropped up on Got to Dance Auditions Uncut. An older guy called Nicky Brennan from the Dublin auditions. Good dancer (great feet, as Adam Garcia would say) but more sean-nos from the waist up.
