Thanks for your imput guys. I think we can all work towards world peace every day. It's about extending our circle of compassion, to everyone, even those who we may not get on with. If we can bring joy and happiness to our families, friends, work colleagues and school friends, by kind words and making positive good causes, by helping people and giving sound advice when people need it, we are all working towards our own and others ultimate happiness. By taking value from every situation, even those that may seem very hard, by changing positive into negative, we are making a step towards peace :)

Peace for everyone seems a beautiful thing to achieve. To get to world peace, start showing your love and caring to everyone around you - your family, classmates, workmates, neighbours etc. The Christmas time is a wonderful time to start this. Maybe you have a lonely grumpy neighbour - go ahead and send him/her a Christmas card for a start. You never know - maybe your neighbour is just lonely? - Or help your mum arrange the household. Offer a classmate to help him/her with their homework. Say something nice to someone you meet (e.g. I really like your new hairdo/dress/shirt whatever.) Give others around you a possibility to be happy about life and their surroundings. That seems a very little step to get to world peace but imagine everyone thinking of being nice to their surroundings...and also the positive reflects back to you as well...

It may seam a little unrealistic, but how about people's ideas on how to achieve world peace? lol That cld be fun. What people would do if they ruled the world and could bring peace to the earth.
