Strange question.. Last feis I got the crazy idea that it might save time to have the hard shoes polished and shined at the hotel. Of course, it didn't occur to me un til *after* the feis that alot of hotels provide this service... But, has anyone else done this with their children's shoes to save time? If so, was it worth it?

After the O's a lot of us are Proud mum's and dad's. Congratz to all of you! Now we remember why we do all that running/driving around LOL.

some feis moms drag their dancers off the football/hurling pitch, iron a shirt and trousers, polish the shoes and hope their son does well!

i joined just to post this comment....my mom will soon be a feis mom but in general she is the taxi driver of my brothers and I's friends
