yeah, i noticed theres alot in Calgary. Saskatoon, that would be a long roadtrip! lol

haha. Our Saskatoon Branch of our school does do a feis there too. I have never been though. There are a lot of comps in Calgary too

Wow, that's a lot of feisanna! Vancouver isn't too bad for distance, could be a lot farther, like Saskatoon.

I hope so too! It really depends. I usually personally go to about 5 or 6 a year but there are TONS you can go to. Just go to that website and look for Western Canada and you can see all the ones in our region. Unfortunately due to us being the only school in our area the closest comps are in Vancouver.

Ok, I will check it out! Hopefully this year maybe there will be some of my own results posted there! how many feises are there usually in a season?

haha. It's not a problem at all. I love sharing my passion for the sport with others! The largest regular feis I have been to I have had 31 competitors in my competition. At Oireachtas I had 47.

If you go to www.feisworx.com This website provides feis results for competition in North America. All the feis' our school goes to have results on this site. We are Western Canada but a few of us compete in Western US sometimes too.

Yeah, I figured the crossing over bit will be the difficult part to begin with. Thanks for putting up with me! lol Just out of curiosity, whats the biggest feis you've been to?

Hi again sorry it has been so long I was on another trip. Yes my dress is red velvet. If you want to add me to Facebook I am Stephanie vandervelde. I was lots of dancing pictures and stuff if your curious at all. Don't worry about not doingthe work shops I am certain you will pick thIngs up quickly. The biggest thing you will probably find difficult is that everything we do has to be crossed over which is different than all other dance styles!

aw thanks 4 changing your pic for me. :) i like the one in ur pic too, its pretty. is it red velvet or something? yes i do have facebook. :) sadly i think i am not doing any ID workshops this summer... :'( alright sounds good about the shoes, i have my ballet shoes.
