Profile Information

I am a ...: Dancer

About me: My name is Christina, and I'm 23 years old. Besides Irish dancing, I love sewing, photography, and design. I'm a recent college graduate with a BFA in Graphic Design and Multimedia Arts. My latest project includes the album cover for Total Irish Dancing II.

What Irish things do I play, dance, say, sing or other:: My Favorite dances vary depending upon the step. I like steps that move and flow the best.
I make my own solo dresses, which is exciting and challenging, and results in too many costumes.
I don't compete too often, Usually just 1-3 feiseanna a year.

Favorite Music: Rock from the 80's and 90's. The Fray, Matchbox Twenty, The Killers, David Cook, Better Than Ezra, and more.

Dancing School / Group: Wick- Hegarty School of Irish Dance

Dancing Level: Preliminary

How many years have you been Irish dancing?: Around 10 years now.

Favourite Irish Dance Show: Lord of the Dance.

I love this about Irish Dancing:: There are too many things..so I'll go with Nailing difficult moves

Slip jig, Hang-Time leaps, and pain

It's been quite a while since I posted a new journal entry.

My class schedule this semester is MUCH better, which gives me more time for practicing. Last semester I didn't get home from school until nearly 8:00PM on Tuesday and Thursday, and then I was much too tired to dance. Now I'm home by 4:30, and have Wednesdays and Fridays off. It doesn't get much better than that.

What a week!

Ugh, It's so hard getting back into a routine after having a month off of school...

The new semester started on Tuesday, and I've been running ever since. I'm taking 4 classes: Network security, Media Authoring and Design, Marketing, and Photography. On top of classes, I'm also doing an internship for credits.

New to Diddlyi

This is exciting. I vaguely remember running across this site a while ago. Now that I've found it again, there seem to be some excellent updates. Making it less "Myspacey" and more community orientated. I like that a lot.

It's hard jumping into a new blog...Here I go:
