- I dance at petri school!! GO PETRI!!! I was on the 2009 MARO U12 and U15 girls 8 hand ceili team, and the U12's got 20th out of 50!!!! yay!!! I LOVE IRISH DANCE!<333 I went to my first oireachtas in november, recalled, and placed 54th out of 146!!!
You celebrate me on August 28th!!!!
I love my dance teachers so much they are what maded me the dancer I am today and I couldn't have done it without them. I love you Lisa and Karen!!!!

How do you juggle your dance life with your social life?
I don't do any other sports right now due to my tight dance schedule, and I can't hang out with friends some weekends and weekdays due to many dance classes. Here's the thing- I don't want to stop any of my dance classes. I'm not losing interest, so dropping a class will not help. I'm wondering how everyone else handles their social life with their dance life, and if anyone does any extra sports/activities.

Getting mixed in with the rest of them!
Here we go again! It feels like just yesterday I wrote that journal post about missing the Oireachtas. Now it's September!!! AHH! lol. Well, I've placed four times in prelim, and I'm working SUPER hard in my classes and at home to prepare myself to the best of my abilities by the time November 27th rolls around ;). I miss the Oireachtas!
As I left the Mid Atlantic Region Oireachtas on a chilly november morning, I was a little discouraged. I didn't want to leave. I loved the excitement, the sashes, and the dancing! I really wanted to see the parade of champions, but I would have to wait until next yeaar to watch, even though my dream is to win.
