Hello again Dasha <waves again> Its good to hear from you too! I'm really quite jealous, wish I could dance at the Worlds, but I think my only chance is through a ceili or a figure team (for An Coimisiun, anyhow) as the Senior Ladies age group is very strong in the North West of England. I'm doing open platform feiseanna & hope to qualify for the WIDA Worlds, for Solo's I think its my only chance. It looked like you had a great time judging from the huge smiles on your faces - I'm really glad you got the chance. Dance wise, things a re going ok, my pal Jono came up today & has taught me a lovely new Reel, Slip Jig, & Hornpipe. We plan to get together again when we can so we can work on a new Heavy Jig for me. I am currently working on some Non Trad set's(Open Set's) - my hornpipe set is Kilkenny Races (speed 80) & my Jig set will be Rub The Bag (probably speed 70 or 71 - need to get onto a dance floor & just try it out, see what works best). When are your Oireachtas & what city are they in this year? Good luck & have a blast. What sets are you doing?
