Nic Cionnaith left a comment for Margaret WilkinsOh my goodness... I just discovered I have had a post marked as a draft for a month now. Time just flies when you're training for Worlds. Let me start with the post I meant to publish a month ago.
"I competed at the North Coast Feis this past weekend. What a fantastic venue! The feis finished early which was great for us older girls.
To say I wasn't nervous would be lying. I had been on horrible antibiotics all week, that seemed to be sucking the life out of me and my…

In a recent blog post I recieved a comment asking, what is your advice to older dancers in their 20s trying to qualify for worlds? I responded but decided it would be a great topic for my next blog post.
As everyone on Diddlyi knows, Irish Dance is far from easy. It takes hours of training and commitment, and that is why many dancers decide to retire from the competitive world when they start post-secondary education. I was one of those girls. The stress of work, school, and life are…

How did you do ?? We are all dying to know! Hope you had loads of fun :D
Nic Cionnaith said… I just wanted to say that I really enjoy reading your posts! You're a inspiration to me... I started getting into Irish dance last year at age 19, and it really helps to have role models close to my age. Oh, and HUGE congrats on qualifying for worlds! Best of luck to you. :)
i look forward to pics of you at the worlds ! i'm very excited for you :D
