"Make sure you are turning out from your hip joint, That that very little turnout comes from the ankle. To improve my turnout I had to imrpove my flexibility in my hips. I did the butterfly stretch multiple times a day. "

Do you have any videos of your group dancing? If you do it might be beneficial to put the videos on diddlyi. I would love to see what your group is doing and there are many champion dancers and teachers on diddlyi who might be willing to comment on your dance technique if you ask for it.

It's great to see others from your dance group joining Diddlyi. How many dancers do you have in your group and how often do you get together to dance? I really hope you can generate enough interest to get an ID instructor near you. Have any of the professional Irish dance shows ever performed in your area? It would be good if they did. There is nothing like watching Riverdance or some other show to get people interested.
