"practice every move in your dance slowly, focusing on cross over, and really try to  ridiculously over cross because then  once you get it up to full speed, some of the crossing will have been retained!"

"I have a good sized plywood piece in my room with foam underneath for hardshoe...I technically could practice on my hardwood but I dont want to scuff it and its concrete underneath, for softshoe I pratice upstairs in the living room or in the family…"

17 year old novice dancer

Is there any other 17 year old novice dnacers? I'm always the oldest in my age group and its kinda embarassing when a ten year old wins against you. Anybody here have that problem?
