Irish Dance Workshop

My school on TV!!

First classes after injury

hm ... first serious classes - wasn't so bad ... but weird :)
my fit - there is no such thing like ''my fit''
my hard shoes - rythm still somewhere is ok but knees, and ancles, and back - they don't work at all
my soft shoes - afraid,

;) I think it's going to be ok and till ista feis I will recall all technique

Bad Luck

yesterday i've came to Krakow to participate in Winter Workshop, but my baggage was lost by airlines. And it's really terrible, 'cos i've got the hard shoes in my bag :((
i'm totally frustrated.... i can't practice hard shoes choreography. Airlines says that if they find the baggage, they send it to me on Moday, but all classes end on Sunday.
Is it really happens to me?.... can't believe :(

Riverdance Flying Squad in Beijing, China - Part 5

The night of the performance we were taken to the TV studio at 6pm. Although we were not due to perform until 11.30pm, the producer wanted us in the building for security issues and to make sure that absolutely nothing went wrong. CRN Irish Opens

Yay, I qualified for the CRN Irish Opens in May 09! I qualified for Mean Grad AND Ard Grad (I had 2 seconds and 2 thirds, so that's plen-ty!), but I'm doing Mean Grad (I don't fancy getting my ass whooped in Ard Grad just yet LOL). I just booked my flight to Dublin. I'm so excited!

I'm going to see Riverdance!

For Valentine's day, my husband got me tickets to see Riverdance in Philly! I've seen LOTD (once in the first row) twice but I've never seed RD. So I'm super excited to be seeing it from the 4th row during its last North American tour :) April can't come fast enough!

Saint Patty's day

Ok. I am so happy Saint Patty's day is next month. I'm so excited though. I can't wait! EKK!! Hope that my friend can be there. My BFF though, hates anthing to do with irish dance and culture. But we think alike!!

Had her over and climbed a tree. I fell (Of course) and got a big scrape. I didn't cry though. She was up on the highest branch laughing her head off. What a good friend.

Early February in Anchorage

Eden survived her first foray into the wonderful world of pageants -- she didn't win Miss Fur Rendezvous but she did get Miss Congeniality and was voted most helpful by the board of directors. All in all, quite a good experience, making some new friends and connections. There was no talent competition so it was not quite the "whole monty" as pageants go. Dublin!

Only 4 weeks left till I go to Dublin for 4 days. It's only a short trip but I wasn't in Ireland for about 3 years. I can't wait. :) Sightseeing, shopping, ... I will go with two friends and I am sure,it will be a great weekend!
