Hi everyone!!
Well, yet again another exciting day here at stagefire! The day began at 7.45am when the whole cast headed off to the venue where we will be performing for our first run through of the stagefire show! The venue is a cinema which is different then what we are used to so there had to be some changes made to exits and entrances etc.
After a successful run through the show it was back to the studio for most of us for more rehearsals, costume fittings and…

Well, we have finally come to the end of day six, and what a day it was!! Classes began at 10am and we didnt get back to our hotel until 10pm! The show is really starting to take shape now and we are now into the stages of cleaning up routines, sharpening up movements and perfecting everything, most of the actual choreography is now done with only a few bars missing here and there!!
I am delighted to say that everyone looks like they are really having a…

Ahhh.... Another day done!
It is now 12.53am and the third day of Stagefire is done. I have just got back from a nice bit of Sushi and some nice wine and about to settle in for a sleep! As usual, we are all very tired here after all the hard work. Of course we are all still having fun but many are starting to feel the effects of three days of dancing and thinking in preparation for the show.
Today was a good day I think. Personally I felt that my choreographies were…

Hi everyone!
Sorry I didn't get my blog up last night but yesterday was a loooooooong day! The only thing that I could manage after teaching from 11am - 8.30pm was climbing into my bed and dreaming up some more choreographies for the next day!
Yesterday was the first day of teaching our choreographies to the different groups. All the dancers had a chance to hear the music to which they would be performing and it gave us teachers another chance to try an visualize the…

Here we go again! First a sprained ankle, then I sprained the other ankle, and now I tore my medial meniscus in my right knee! For those of us who have no idea what that is, the medial meniscus is a shock-absorbing piece of cartledge right by your knee cap. You actually have two, one on each side of the knee cap, and I tore the medial one which is the one on the inside of my knee.
I have no clue how I did it! lol. As far as I know, it was not a dance related injury. They think it might be…
