Anyone who knows me will understand that this is just so uncommon for me. A FREE night with nothing specific to do .... so having thought deeply for about half an hour, I think I have a plan. I will do exactly that - NOTHING... I am going to go and run a lovely hot bath with lots of bubbles in it... soak in it till I go all wrinkly.. which I don't think I have been able to do since I started having children 15 years ago .. and then I am going to take a nice long glass of red wine and a book…

I know I am a nightowl, but its time to say goodnight to all of you in the top half of the world. It might be the middle of the afternoon where you all are, but here it is almost midnight.

Don't worry, I will be back in a few hours - and we will see which of you are nightowls too. Keep leaving me messages and I will reply to them. I really enjoy chatting!

ahh today's my first day!

im so excited, but extremely nervous.

i barely got any sleep last night

and im freaking out about making new friends!

ah.

well i've got to get ready so i'll post another blog when my first day is finally over. :]

Today is my last day in Austria and tomorrow ill fly to Dublin.

I'm really excited about that and can't wait to meet my host family, new school mates, and lots of new people!

it's weird not hearing any german or other languages spoken.

but me & my mom are preety much settled in our new house, just a few more things to put away. school starts on the 27th [[monday.]] [[i can't wait, this summer's been to long.]]

and i have an open house for my school tomorrow.

i haven't meet anyone yet, not even my neighbors.

I'm so excited to announce that at the beginning of August my teacher had a baby boy! Her third child (and her third boy, go figure!) ! So congratulations to her and her family! How wonderful!

Part II: My family recently came back from Philidelphia. It was a blast! Hopefully we can try to upload some pictures, but for those of you going to the Mid-Atlantic O, you will love Philly!
