Okay, I will move in the next weeks. After hundreds of of house viewings, I finally found a nice flat. (You can't imagine, what houses I have seen. I rather live in a cave... *brrr*)
My new home is a lovely house in a small village near my hometown. With wunderfull views over field and forest.
I can move there next month but first I have to buy new furnitures. My old ones are "early Ikea". :) I think, I ve seen every single furniture shop in my region.

First of all: Big "Thank you!" to all who took a part in the contest for the name of our project. We appreciate all your ideas and above all the warm words and good wishes you have sent us.
Now, would you like to know what name we have chosen?
From now on the international dance project we work on is going to be called Stage Fire Dance Project. The author of the name is Ewa Huget, also a diddlier. Hope you like it just as…

I've been home for the last week (more or less) and I have one more week of relaxation (minus ACLS training and some more trauma sims) until I start my 2 months of surgery. I will have a drive (45 mins) to get there so I'm not looking forward to getting up at 4 or 5. I have no motivation whatsoever this week! I should be dancing but I can't get started doing anything, even laundry and dishes. I tried designing a dress for the IDM design competition but I am severely lacking in the artistic…

So, life is getting really crazy. I start college classes on Monday!! I have almost all of my books, the last English book should get here soon (I hope). I paid all of the tuition and books myself. I've ben working six days a week bagging groceries at the commisary. I'm gearing up for my first US feis end of October. And a huge shock, I have a boyfriend. And no, I'm not joking. My life is very quickly spinning out of control. My birthday is Sunday, and I will be at work from 9 am to 6:30 pm,…

This was by far the best feis this year! Even though it was in one large ballroom it was never too crowded. Lots of room to camp in the hallway outside, extremely loud music (with Mark Arrington!), good floors, seperate room for vendors, and it ran right on time...practically to the minute. As for results...I got a 1st in treble jig! I got 2nd in reel and 2nd in hornpipe but I am so happy with my treble jig 1st and 2nd is the highest I've placed in reel! I have 2 more feiseanna before the…

The feis this weekend was nice. We camped in the auditorium instead of the insanely packed gym so it was nice to visit air conditioning between dances. I didn't have a great feis day, though, and left with only a 3rd in hornpipe. I didn't place in treble jig for the first time :( My timing was reallllly messed up on my first step. I wish so much that we had summer dance classes. I have absolutely no space to practice at my house and it's so hard to practice at the school gym because people are…

OK, I'm bored... just got hair cut and eyebrows waxed. ( OUCH, not hehehe) I need new pics but don't know how to get pics on computer. I must have some sort of techno disability. It sucks when you want to know something but for the life of you can't figure it out. This is one of those times. (MUMBLES) I hate feeling stupid....... klsdfjowaeoijkaweiorjsldkfjeidjckdfjkdeidieidjf. There that makes me feel better. :)

I'm excited about another year starting. I'm in my Sophomore year of high school, and I've been homeschooled my whole life. It allows me a lot of freedom to explore my interests and learn the things i'm interested in. I'm in a homeschool group with a lot of fun artistic kids and we are learning to make movies and record music, and some of us play our guitars together. It's a lot of fun!

It is going to be a ten-day long summer school of Irish dancing, held in Poland (July 2009), but in a different form than ever before in Europe!
Every day, for more than a week, dancers of all levels will work on…
