Long time no talk!

Wow, its been so long since I've been on diddlyi and looking back on what I left up for everyone to see is just embarresing. I was looking through my pictures and oh my gosh I have changed so much that I didn't see the use in keeping them up then I was looking at my journal posts and they where horrible! (Not that this one is that much better).

Elevation

Oh my god oh my god oh my GOD! I paid the deposit for an Elevation dress two days ago! I'm so excited, this will be the first solo dress I haven't made myself and I've wanted an Elevation for AGES, but they're just sooooo expensive. But, it was time (heck, at 33, how much feis-time do I have left, right?). It's scheduled to arrive in mid-January, in time for the CRN Dutch Championships and the big events in WIDA in the spring of 2010.

I can't wait ...

Tuesday Night...

...has been insanely busy. I went to school, worked, turned in edits, and now I am babysitting a sick puppy. We finally got Charlotte fixed this morning, and of all the places she could have crashed for the night, she decided to do it right in the middle of my bed. Looks like I have puppy duty tonight. On the plus side, she's not as wild and crazy as before so I have been able to practice my steps a bit and get a good shot of my new dress. I Feel Like Crap

So, yeah, I think I'm coming down sick. I'm coughing and my chest hurts so bad right now. Hopefully it's not the swine flu...that would stink. So, off of work in a couple of hours, then off to bed. I need the rest.

Poll: How do you like the new Latest Activity layout?

So you probably have noticed that we moved the latest activity to the middle of the front page. We did this so you and other visitors can immediately see what is going on in the Diddlyi Community.

This does mean that the latest activity isn't accessible on every page on the right column. But we feel it can do a better job on the front page of letting new visitors know how fun a place Diddlyi is when they first arrive.

My first Entry

Today is Labor Day, so I don't have to go to work.

I started learning King of the Faeries (tradtional version) which is probably a mistake, since I have a feis coming up and my regular hornpipe is not so good. But I love it so much, I couldn't resist. I copied down the KOF from this video:
