King O'Sullivan winter feis 2011

This feis was the best yet! Let me tell you all about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

January 22nd 2012

7:23 PM We arrive at the Evergreen conference resort. We check in to our room and then go to the Vendors. (I needed new Hullachan's). I meet Bridget Hogan (Diddlyi member) at the 'Celtic shoes' vendor.

8:12 PM We go to the corner German restaurant and eat (check my bio for info on the whole Germany thing)(don't ask).

9:49 PM I practice in my new soft shoes (the Hullachan's) in the hotel room

10:42 PM I set the alarm clock 6:10 and go to sleep.

January 23rd 2012

6:10 AM I wake up and start putting a little make-up on and start doing my wig.

7:23 AM I go down and buy breakfast, then go back to the room to eat.

8:36 AM We go down to the feis and I warm up for the competition with some girls from my school.

9:48 AM I start competing.

2:15 PM I finish my Traditional Set (St.Paddy's day) And get upset the I slipped during the rocks.

Then my dad asks me what do you think was the highest thing you placed? I said 2. He told me I no longer had to compete in my school dress. I EARNED A SOLO DRESS IN MY FIRST NOVICE COMPETITION. I cried tears of joy. I was so proud of myself. I got 1st in my slip jig and single jig.I got 2nd in my treble jig (slow), trad. set, reel. I got 3rd in my light jig. I did not place in my hornpipe.
